Just registered and already have SPAM in my PM...

Hi all,
I just registered here this past week- (found it through TusconSEO). I have been told this was the type of forum where people take all questions seriously and don't talk down to anyone like in other forums. I hope this to be the case.

But, I just received a spam private message (pemark?)and it will not delete! I tried three times, using "delete", the delete button, and "empty inbox".

Am I missing something? Any help would be appreciated.

Ooopps. just double checkedit as I was about to post this. It is gone now.

Anyway, hope to learn much here.

Spammers like where there is traffic. Welcome, and sorry for the spam. Just be vigilant here. It is a great place to be though.

If spammers don't show up, then your site isn't worth being at! Spam goes where action happens. It is a compliment, although a real pain in the you-know-where.

I am a forum hater. I HATE 99.9% of the forums out there! Own one myself.... HATE IT! (Just kidding, kind of). Most forums are hot air and whine, whine, whine. This forum is by far my favorite of them all. There is some stuff that will blow your mind from time to time, but the mods? They don't screw around! And it don't take much to get the axe! Sometimes faster than you can blink an eye.
