    Logo Contest

    Prize paid through paypal

    72 hour contest

This is for a new community website linking models and photographers. It will have photographer and model members each with their profile page and photo gallery.

I imagine something simple/elegant/abstract related to photography like a lens/camera etc. My favorite colors for this would be red and or black. Perhaps with or just a really striking font? (could be all caps or all lower case- just has to be SUPER COOL!)

BUT YOU GUYS ARE SO AMAZING THAT I LEAVE IT UP TO YOUR IMAGINATION. Something really striking that could go on tshirts, etc.

Final submission should be hi-res PSD image in PS.

    Thank you all!

stardesigns99 + Noscirem I think the camera execution is well done by both of you, and if I go with one of them I might declare you BOTH winners and pay you both too! I might even make you collaborate!!! 9("ewhhhh!!!).

But so far I'm leaning towards blankeyecue. It also uses a camera but it seems a little more unique. I LOVE the idea of a camera... My only reservations are that it leaves the 'model' side out and that all the cameras look like old Kodak instamatics- it might bug all the photographers who are shooting with "DSLR's" Frankly I'm surprised at how many used a SIMILAR camera icon.

For what its worth, I really like Noscire's use of the drop shadow. I think its the strongest "logo" effect per se.

Also, although the overall effect is a bit cluttered or crowded WATARI has so far done the best of integrating a model AND a camera element (the crosshairs suggesting a viewfinder).

Blankeyecue- would you mind trying a drop shadow effect with this, like Noscire's? (at least with the white background version. Not sure how or if it would work with a black bkgnd.)
