Local Travel "blog"

    I want to know what everyone thinks about local travel blogs written by people who live in the area. Do they get decent traffic? Do they work as far as adsense goes?

    Why not. One can manage local travel blog with useful information about that area and earn good enough income through adsense there

    YEs exactly, Infact it is always advisable to make travel blogs on specific places, cities or local places.
    Because atleast there will be less competition and you can easily target long tail keywords.
    These kind of blogs specially earn good income from adsense once the traffic start flowing.
    So good luck with that and go ahead with your plans.:)
