I've tried to list my site under a variety of subjects, but when I click one, NONE of them have an actual place to submit the site information; only the "how to" link, which takes me back to the very beginning. Is DMOZ not accepting any more directory listings? There weren't that many for the categories I wanted.... Help! Thanks in advance.
I just checked a few categories, they all have a "Suggest URL" link that works. What category(s) are you talking about?
Higher categories do not allow site suggestions, and the suggest URL link points to the ADD page in such instances.
Qryztufre is correct. The suggestion instructions ask you to choose the most specific category for your suggestion, so if you do not do that, you might well find that there is no "Suggest URL" link. For example, if you wanted to suggest a site about swine flu, you would be unable to suggest it to http://www.dmoz.org/Health/Conditions_and_Diseases/ . You could suggest it to http://www.dmoz.org/Health/Conditions_and_Diseases/Infectious_Diseases/ , but if you followed the instructions on the form, you would keep looking until you found http://www.dmoz.org/Health/Conditions_and_Diseases/Infectious_Diseases/Viral/Influenza/A-H1N1/ .
