My First Squidoo Lens... Is it good?

hey there...

Was hearing a lot abt Squidoo, so today I decided to take it on.
I made my first lens. (page )

I know it must not be that great... but I am happy...
What do you think?

 

I keep hearing about Squidoo aswell. Looks like a good start to me, but I've not tried to make a lens yet. Can I ask what you hope to get out of making the lens, as I'm struggling with the concept?

 

I think you are going to need a LOT more content if you want your lens to rank well...

 

Head directly to Squidoo site and you will find a step by step help in making your first lens... Its really simple and the site is well made.

Yes I too think so, but since it was my first lens i didnt wanted to fill it like with everything... will add more content soon...

Your lens is some what average, because those lens rank higher which have loads of content and atleast 6-7 Modules for sure, and then they turn dofollow immediately as well.

Content is lacking in your lens. Only some RSS feeds and link to websites is not enough. Try to add some unique content and your lens will be on high lens rank.

 

I would have to agree with most of what has been said here, you are lacking in content on the lens, but I did notice that you have a different template on your lens. (Now I am not all that familiar with Squidoo so please excuse my ignorance) Are there different templates that you can use?

And if you are interested in seeing some high quality lenses, you should check out the Warrior forum, there is a woman who does some really nice lenses, I do believe her name is Helen, sorry, I know that is not a lot to go by, but I am sure you can find her on the forum.

You need to Add some Popular search engine friendly modules & and Quality contents.. please check some giant Squidoo lens for the samples.

Check out the squidoo top 100 for your niche, it will give you some ideas.

 

you have lot to do mate.. your lens lack content and mods. You also need to organize things. Join the squidu forum and get reviews frm the experts i believe you can make your lens lot better

 

Good tips but the description looks too short, try to add more..

 

Here is my observation -

# Add photo on your profile ... so that it can look like made by human

# Introduction photo is not explaning your lens well ... try to add such photo which describe it perfectly

# Add some content and below that give these RSS and Link list.

# Instead of Guest Book change it ... something like - "Tell your secrets of weight loose or your story of weight loose"
