Me and my current girlfriend at the time were on holiday in Florida, and after walking round some shops she picked out a necklace that she loved; it was priced at $500. I said I would buy it for her, however, she said it was too expensive and moved away to another shop.

Later that night, we were getting ready for a nightout at downtime Kissimmee - I left her alone in the Villa and quietly drove to the shop and bought her the necklace! Damn, she looked so pretty that night. It's a shame I'm not with her anymore.

I can't remember the first thing I got her. For her most recent birthday I made a calendar for her based on our times together. So it had a lot of pictures of us at these amazing locations and I also jotted some important dates into the caldendar. She loved it! I just wanted to give her something unique and that would last a long time and that she could use everyday.

The first gift she got me came as a complete surprise. She had hid a music CD and DVD under my pillow which I had really been meaning to buy for a while but couldn't find anywhere. Brilliant!

Girl likes jewelry but your first jewelry gift for your girlfriend can be a difficult experience in my opinion.

 

Very first thing I gave was a pearl necklace and perfume. It can get a little hard to be creative after a while though, and you just need to wrack your brains a little more each time...lol.
