Hello, I want to add a second server to my WHMCS. I added the new server and created some packages for the new server in whmcs. The problem is that when someone ordered the new package & paid for it, the account was created in WHMCS, but it is not created on the server(new one), i.e. he/she cannot access the cPanel. I tried to get it resolved from WHMCS, but it have been a week now and they could not give me a solution for this. Can anyone help me? Help of any type is Welcome'd. Sorry mods, if this is not the correct forum to post this problem.
It should not be that much difficult to set default server. Login to your WHMCS Admin, go to Setup -> Servers and then click on the server which you want to set as a defult server. Kailash
I'd be thinking twice about using the automated account creation function of WHMCS if I were you. WHMCS has had significant security security flaws revealed from time to time .. Its your root password
What's dangerous is that many WHMCS users think that they can give all their staff access to WHMCS, and they may then access the server without actually knowing the password... But, when anyone with access to the server list page goes to the server list and look at the source code, then they can find all root passwords within the source code.... They are not encrypted in any way... But, for cPanel the root password is only used to login to WHM by clicking the button in WHMCS, you only need the API Key to automated the account creation, suspension etc.
