Is PR2 good?

I'm no computer expert and I have very little SEO knowledge but I have managed to get my website a Google rank of PR2

I was just wondering if this is good for someone who doesn't really know what he is doing and if anyone has any tips for getting to the next level - i.e. PR4 and above

Anything I find helpful will get repped up

 

My congrats that is good index. In any case that proves that you are on the right way and there is nothing instant in the SEO

 

that is a good start.But getting a PR4 is going to be very difficult unless you get links from PR5 or PR 6 or a lottttt of PR0 links.So try to concentrate on getting a PR3.Try directory submissions -a lot of them would do the job.Always try to do link exchange but dont do a lot of them.It would be better to do 3 way link exchange.

 

Does lot of PR 0 dir submission really help?

 

I agree with itcoll. PR 2 is a good start. But i'm sure you will have to work a lot to go to PR 4...

 

You can do some off page activities like..

directory submission
Articles submission
And get some signature link high valuable forums,,

 

use some links exchange or hit2hit websites

 

pr2 is good enough since you only have a little knowledge on optimizing a site... good for you..

 

See if you are posting a unique content and fairly managing your site the site will definitely perform well, that's what i think you must be doing till now. SEO makes your site visible in SERP on your keywords, helps in getting traffic and much more, getting PR for your site is another thing. You must have done certain work to get the backlinks and all.

 

SEO and webpage PR both are different. If you are intended to optimize your website in search engines, try to develop links from relevant and indexed pages. And if you want to raise your webpage PR only, it would be better you target links on High PR webpages.

 

PR2 isn't really that much but it's sure better than a PR0 site. Keep working!

 

Congrats Dude!!! You really did a marvelous job. Still you're long way from your destination. Don't worry about links!!! Do upload the content (original) daily to get PR-4 easily...

 

Try to get some quality back links such as quality directory submissions, article submissions, do-follow blog commenting, social networking sites, social bookmarking sites, classified posting, free quality press release, quality reciprocal links.

Main thing updating the content.

 

2 is good but you should do more work to bring it to 4 or 5 pr

I have done a lot of work on link building and High PR links but didn't know about the relevant links bit

So, I guess the answer is to constantly update my content, which is tricky for the type of site I have (the one in my sig)

Can anyone provide any suggestions?

Yeah buddy, it's obviously good. Anything above zero is good. By the way if you like you can do business with your pr 2 blog in the market place section of this forum provided your blog is not on free platform like blogger and wordpress.

 

It consider good, at least better than 0 and 1. However, it is not good enough

 

PR 2 is a start, but don't get too held up on the whole PR thing as it doesn't always translate into rankings.

 

Don't waste time on PR
Pr is just a number
Higher PR means nothing no higher traffic or rankings
