right, ofcourse one player doesn't make a team (as i stated above). I see many people here diss ronaldo just because his behavior during games...everyone has a unique playing style, like scholes loves to hit balls with his hands when united needs a goal...that doesn't make him a bad player does it? nope

I too agree with you and honestly he is best person on grounds but when talk comes to respect to club then I hate him, Manchester United give him a platform to become greatest player with 3 league Title and 1 UCL title and I think he should give importance to club too!

Of course, the club would not be great without good footballers. What Ronaldo needs to learn is to be matured with his media responses. Imagine if you are a team-mate and this other team-mate of yours (no doubt, a good player) kept getting himself in the news about going to another club (and indirectly taking the club at ransom), how would that make you feel? How would that affect the overall morale of the team?

If he is really interested to play for Real or any other club for the matter, just say so and go. Don't take the club at ransom with your "I might or might not be here next season" kind of replies.

Yes it puts pressure on other players too and also too club and fans too! If he not happy then go out to Madrid, I am sure he wouldn't get such a good response in Spain.:D See what happened to Van Nistelrooy:D Reports in England last week suggested that Tottenham had been told that they could sign van Nistelrooy for as little as £1.5 million (€1.7m) even less then Man Utd Striker Fraizer Campbell who is going to Hull for £6m.:D

Man Utd accept £80m Ronaldo bid

Manchester United have accepted a world record offer of £80m from Real Madrid for Cristiano Ronaldo.

"United have agreed to give Real Madrid permission to talk to the player," said a statement from the English club.

It added that the decision followed "Cristiano's request - who has again expressed his desire to leave".

United described the offer for the 24-year-old as unconditional and added that they expected the matter to be concluded by 30 June.

Well that's good news for United Fans now we can relax because of this. Indeed he is best player but he has no respect for United so it good to see him out from OT. We thanks for your Service Ron but ensure you that you wouldn't be get same sucess with Madrid.:D

It also open the door for Alex to buy any players now and we can spend big money because of this. I think Antonio Valencia is likely first summer buy for United and report suggest that he has Medical as soon as possible. Second Target which should be come at OT is Karim Benzema.

I thoroughly agree with Tommy Doherty when he says that "the game's gone mad".

I think it will be a good bit of buisiness for united, as good as ronaldo is his heart is clearly not at man utd anymore and like people have said 80million is a lot of money and will allow them to re invest, if they can get benzema, riberty and one more it will be well worth it in my opinion.

Ronaldo is a great player, no doubt. Clearly Real Madrid must think he`s worth it. He finally got his wish anyway.

Yes but when team have too many star players then it not good for team and Real Madrid will face this problem in next season, Ronaldo is successful with us because team playing for him to score while in Madrid star players working for their own and it wouldn't help them. I still think Barcelona is much better team in Spanish League.

Looking at the past few deals, I think Man U is the star developer while Real Madrid pays the astronomical price buying such stars.... only to eventually destroy them!

Offer 50 million for Ribery and 30 million for Benzema. That should clinch it :D in the meantime, sell Berbatov and use the money to buy Tevez :D
