Hi, I have a and relatively easey question about yahoo mail privacy. I don't want my full name to appear in my e-mails and don't know how to change it. I already changed my name in profile and saved, but for some reason my e-mails still come up as my full name. Because I have edited profile and exhausted all options as far as I know, if you could please write a brief walkthrough it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Maybe it takes some time for them to update their system after you've made changes?

I changed my last name to something completely different than my own. I saved it, pressed finsih, sent an e-mail to myself, and it came back as my original name, or the one I don't want shown. I checked back at the profile page and it was saved under the new name I created, but for some reason, when I send e-mails, it uses the old name. Help so far and further help is appreciated. Thanks

get a new email addy and use that for non-personal stuff...

I don't see any reason of not exposing your name unless you wanna go about scamming people...

Wow, really. Not only would you make such a crazy assertion, it goes about implying that I'm the one who does that..

Anyway. I want to e-mail people over the internet without them knowing my real name. Nothing wrong with that. If anything it keeps you more secure. Anyone else know the means to fixing this?

No one really knows? I thought this would be a relatively easy question.
