It would be good to keep track of your own car for when teenagers drive it. I am sure there are many husbands and wives that would use it to spy on their supposed "cheating spouse" That is too much drama for me.

I have tested this device and it works perfectly. You just need a mobile phone sim card capable of sending text messages. You can use a sim from those Pay as you go plans so no need for monthly contracts etc.

 

I agree.. this husband, wife thing would involve too much drama.
I suppose some other good uses would be to secure your car. It works as a live car tracker so if anyone steals your car, you can track it live. Don't go down with a baseball bat to retrieve it though

It also has a feature where you could listen into the conversation being held inside the car.

Awesome device. But you do know that if you use it to track anyone other then yoru car or kids you can be liable for a lawsuit as well as jail time. So don't do anything stupid. And remember to leave the "ex" alone.

My question is where do you put it?
If it's a GPS device that means it needs to be located somewhere with satellite visibility. I don't think putting this underneath your car will help with reception

 

Reception is similar/ slightly better than a normal mobile phone. Device is quite small so can be hidden anywhere like under the car seat, under the dash board. I have tried it by placing it in different locations inside a car and tracking has been perfect without any issues.

This device works in any country where you can use mobile phone sms cards capable of sending text messages so it will work almost arround the globe really.There is no fixed monthly fees etc.
