my primary site is still PR2

 

My toolbar PR got updated for on of my sites last week......It is my blog and is about 2 months old. Any idea why it would be updated now and not JULY 1st?

 

can PR is going down again ....

i have ever got PR 5 on my site then 1 month later become PR 3 , how it can be ?? thx

 

Yes they can. Maybe you lost some valuable link or they got disregarded because of certain reasons.

On one of my sites page rank is going like this last few years

Because toolbar PR is a mess and means nothing. My site at one time was a 6, now a three, yet my positions in the SERP's for targeted keywords increased dramatically...so just ignore the "little green bar" and focus on what is important.

 

It is showing PR 3 on my PC

 

Guys can you confirm PR has changed on these dates roughly?

I dont check every day but some of mine have changed round about this those times. I though on average it was every 3 months?

because google has changed his policy to revise the websites pr now these days no one can surely when google will update pr.
but it is very bad policy i dont like this . i think google must have to decided any time period for updation.

 

my site 3 from pr4 pr3 gone to PR0, i hate google ;-(

 

Man - my pr sucks - been building backlinks for about a month - Been hitting hugh traffic blogs and forums - is that the best method?

 

PR only changes when there is a pr update which usually occurs once every 3months.

Thats not every three months so it seems Google has had a policy change. Seems Jackii has seen the PR updating on these dates as well. Thought I was going mental.

OK its not a disaster but when I'm trying to value a site and take PR into consideration now I have to estimate instead of it changing in 3 months time it could be tomorrow.

Yes , google page rank has been updated, i have built some websites over a month ago and all got the pr within a month

 

My website was down to 0 PR from PR3 on June 8.
My inner pages were Down to NO PR from PR2 and PR1.
I got frustrated and requested reconsideration through webmaster tool.
Luckily I got the PR back on June 11. I retained PR3 on home page and inner pages got the same.

Lesson to learn, dont lose a hope, keep trying.
It could happen to you, then dont worry it could be a temporary change, request google and they may reconsider.

 

I guess it's just a coincidence. Google is not reacting so quick to complaints...

 

I dont think asking for reconcideration had anything to do with it. Reconcideration is only for de-indexing. Pagerank updates can take sometimes 10 or more days to reach all data centers and display corectly.

You have to wait 2 - 3 months. Although, no one can say for shore when they will update again.
