You should arrange the look of your site. I see it unorderly arranged.
For contents I salute you but if you do not quickly re-arrange your site display I bet that visitors will not stay long visiting your site.

For me the "Have a problem" is slightly darkened by the site theme and does not really fit. Also slogans tend to be short and trendy. 2 lines of slogan is not recommended.

Also at sidebar "Sponsor Links"
Its covering the Meta. Best remove the Meta at your theme and also start exchanging links with other health sites at the footer. Your are not benefitting anything if your putting the links Wordpress Development Blog and etc.
Try to add a nice favicon also. Some good ones available at favicon.cc

Regarding the Google ads placement I suggest you to use Evermoe plugin so that it shows a short summary about your post and your visitors will visit the full post and use Adsman to place your Google Adsense better.

See example of a good ads placement here. This was a blog I sold before

Others than that add more useful unique fresh post and target good keywords on any post. That should do the trick.

Especially as you have readable posts on your homepage I would highly suggest you actually use a theme or template that has a white background with dark text. It is far easier on the eyes and research has proven that sites/blogs with a light colour background and dark text retain their visitors for longer.

Then what you should do is keep your google ads the same colour ( white ) so that they blend in with the rest of your site. This will look much better and your adense click through rate will get improve as a result.

 

Hi, small comments from me.
The adsense at the top is not very fit with the website's layout, it's too big.
It seems that the 2 photos (bodybuilders) are quite old, the images are blurring.
Eventhough that it's good to have to earn some money from the adsense, but in this case, i got the impressions that the adsense is too much,they are everywhere.

The rest is good, I am constructing a new website too, hope you can give your review someday.

I am not a big fan of black background. Other than that your blog is nice.

 

I would put more pictures especially as the right column is empty now. The header could use some spicing up.

I can't say I particularly like the layout. It has nothing to do with the theme of your site for a start...

Anyway, a quick minute search brought up loads of different free layouts that would be much better suited for a bodybuilding wordpress blog like that. For example:

I'm sure if you wanted you could easily find something better, that took me seconds to pull up from one search.

 

That's a pretty dark theme... Maybe it's a tough look that will appeal to body builders (I'm not one of them, so I really don't know). I notice that the nav bar spills over into the welcome message on the home page. I'm using Internet Explorer 7.

 

You should really change that WP theme to some other with image in header and put some body building image.
This looks nothing like body building blog.
