I have noticed in my stats since bing started that the searches and the msn bot have at least tripled and the site added about 50 pages to there search directory. Maybe because it's new people are using it. But I am happy with the results so far.

I am not surprised because for the first time in years, I am actually getting referrals from search results on Bing for my blogs :) This is a very positive thing, I am very excited about it.

I don't really think bing is going to topple google unless there is a clear branding strategy by MSFT.

$MS is likely the only company with enough clout to take on the bigboy imo.

I think Bing will become the no2. It's difficult Google vs Yahoo.

I am actually shocked on how nice it is. Google easily beats yahoo in my point of view, but this new bing looks nice!

look in my opinion the only thing that can overturn google is if wolfram actually starts answering real question . other than that bing is just another search engine. also I want to point out that google as a company own a lot of online estate which is very hard to beat thus bing would fail after the hype is all over but it may succeed over yahoo

I think it will hold #2.
    1. M$ has the marketing budget to get people curious about it.
    2. It's the default search for IE
    3. It has pretty pictures on the homepage, people like pictures.

If it does I will be amazed!

Microsoft have tried so hard in the past to compete with Yahoo and Google!

I also think it may hold #2, I think ask.com and bing will battle it out. Google stands first... and I never can find anything with yahoo search (terrible).

as for me, i'll say that bing can beat yahoo, but what about the big G it's very difficult to imagine a SE that can competite with Google. Google's strategy and Google algorithm is the most useful and valuable nowadays, but if bing changes their algo just like Google then we can say that its a real competitor with G.
