I have a flash game website ( its on my signature ) and i had a friend that said he SEO the website and i gave him 6 keywords for that how can i see if he actually did it or not ?

And another question "flash games" is a really competitive keyword now ... would it be possible for me to get in the top with that keyword ..... what do i need to work on for that

    Thank you

A free way to check this is to install the firefox plugin SeoQuake, go to your website in firefox, and then click on the "info" button in the SEOQuake toolbar. This will show you what keywords are in your titles, in your metatags, and what your keyword density is for that page. You can visit every page of your website and see this information for free.

Well, you are the one to fill in the information for the Title and Meta keywords so yes, those should be your keywords. If those are not your keywords then you should go change them.

Why bother with SEOquake? You can look at the source yourself and get that info. Does it do anything else?

Use Quirk Search Status or SEOQuake.

Yes, choosing view source code in the browser would show you the metatags entered. SEO Quake shows you keyword density in one, two, three and four word phrases. That is why I recommended it. If there is not a blue circle with a white 'i' on it, then look over on the right side of the SEO Quake toolbar for the 'density' button. It gives the same information. You can easily see the keyword density on each page of your website this way.

you can run the website in adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal. It can give you some ideas on other longtail keywords to get more traffic with.

We use SeoQuake as well - it's the best tool we have found. You can also generally tell what keywords people are using by having a look at their internal links; if the same phrase comes up as a link a number of times then it's pretty certain that this is one of their targeted keywords.

if you want to check what keywords you are using for your website. just open your website and then press Ctrl+U or Right on the home page and click view page source. after that press Ctrl+F i.e FInd. type keywords there... you are done. this is how you can view your website's keywords.

    Hi,

you can check the keywords within the source code of the page.

And if i talk about flash games. It is possible to get it on top position but you will have to do seo in effective way.

Give some exercise to your mind and try to find out what people usually search for term "Flash Games" and you will get some good keywords, along you can also use Google adwords keyword tool for researching.

You can also get list of keywords of your competitor by using Google adwords keyword tool. You just need to type your competitor url in the box and it will show you all keywords of that site.
