I started a new site about movies some two months back. My site provides information about new movies and so i would like google to cache my pages at the earliest. Now google takes weeks to index my new pages and the movies go outdated. Someone please help me.

Pretty tough niche. One thing you can do is to make good content or review or synopsis of those existing big movie sites. Get backlinks from much related sites like entertainment forums.

For faster indexing, you need higher PageRank which means you need more backlinks. Here's what happens - google is crawling another site and finds a link to your site, it will then crawl your site. So if you have links on a lot of websites, the chances of google visiting your site is higher.

Submitting sitemaps is very beneficial. Google has suggested to submit sitemaps so that, Google can better understand about the pages in your site.

Use google webmaster tool to submit sitemaps.

Also, try to get some solid backlinks. BLs will help your site to be crawled faster.

As your site ages, the pages will get indexed faster. Google takes its sweet time with new sites, I think its mainly due to spammers putting up temporary pages for a few days, then taking the pages down. Once your site gets to be 6 months - 1 year old google will be indexing new pages within an hour of the page getting posted.

Sites that are 2 - 3+ years old, their pages are sometimes indexed within 10 - 20 minutes of being posted.

Building a website takes time, lots of time.

You may also set the crawling rate in the sitemap usint the tag "changefreq"
    Eg: <changefreq>weekly</changefreq>
    <changefreq>daily</changefreq>
    etc.
