    I have designed some WordPress themes. I want to distribute my themes for free

    Can somebody tell 5-10 websites, blogs, forums, where I can submit my themes and generate some backlinks in that way

    I would suggest you try Google to find some websites or directories where you can submit your wordpress themes.

    Well, you can list your themes here, at sitepoint, warrior forums, or any webmaster forums. Also do a search in Google for wordpress themes directories.. hopes that help.

    Why not just post the themes on wordpress.org? That is where most people go to get their themes. At least that is where I go anyway.

    If I like the theme and the preview image, then I will visit the developers website and see what else they have to offer.

    As far as I'am concerned wordpress.org is the only real site you need to get listed on. After that, submit it to wordpress.com to see if they will include it in their themes selection.

    I would suggest giving some away for free while selling a few premium themes. Bait the use in with the free stuff is a great way to go and get lots of free backlinks.
