Do you think there is a must for me to put my picture in my Sales page? From my experience, I saw more and more Guru putting their picture into the sales page, do you think that is the right way? Any comments?

If its a good one, some pictures I see on sales page look so fake and generic like they found it online. It would really help if something in the picture you where holding was related to your product. Like maybe standing by a picture of your product.

If you are trying to make your name and face recognizable and slowly becoming a guru yourself then yes its perfect. People will start to trust you if what you promoting works.

Hold your product or advertise your product.

The only ones I have ever looked at and like were the person either holding the project and one that isn't "fixed up" be original about it.

Not a must but a picture may in to sales conversion or you can try to split test with your photo and without
photo and sees which one converts better.

It's really according to what you're selling. If the product is tied in somehow with you, then yes. If not, then your picture would probably be a distraction. There's no cut and dried answer.

Instead of having your pic on the side of the content or somewhere on the page why don't you just record a video of yourself presenting the product or whatever it is that your selling...?

This way you'll bond with the readers, increase the credibility and make it look more real...

It is good to put your own photo onto the sales page, because it give confidence to viewers and readers.

When you are putting your personal pic in the sales letter and your signature on it you are exposing yourself to the market. You must be very sure that you are going to achieve a certain level of success for your product and your customers otherwise it will backfire quite dramatically. News spread like wildfire with twitter, facebook and other social media. You will need to protect your credibility with much effort. If you don't I guarantee you that your next product no matter how good it is will go down the dumps.Be cautious my friend....

If you want to make the letter more personal, sure why not? I receive a magazine from a company that is owned by a single person. He has his picture all through the magazine showing him using the products and he even makes a DVD movie that he is in.

That way you can put a face with the product.

However, if you have a head like a space alien and kids call you names, maybe you should not include a picture.

Yeah, a picture puts trust in your customers so it's a must. What's even better is a video though. If you can't do one yourself, you should hire someone else to do it for you because it will get you more sales.

Definitely put your picture with it. It lets potential customers and partners get to know you a little bit more. Try to make sure you look professional in the picture as well. Maybe if you have a suit and tie laying around somewhere put it on real quick and have a friend or family member take a nice picture of you.
Definitely makes it more personal and friendly. I highly advise you to do it. :)

The distinction I would make is that Guru's are selling themselves just as much (if not more) than the actual product they appear to be marketing. I'm not sure how it would work to try and reverse this paradigm in attempting to sell a product via you, if you're relatively unknown.

Everyone has basically agreed that it couldn't hurt - I would just note one thing (which is going to sound super mean, but I mean it in no such way - beautiful sells). If you do include your picture make sure you are well groomed, professional looking and don't have it be a MySpace pose. If it does have the ability to significantly alter sales figures, you might even consider having it done professionally (make up artist?).
