i am no expert at SEO, so i will describe the other stuff that a normal visitor would notice

1. how about turning the categories into pages so that a user can easily navigate thru them using the tab at the top?

2. honestly, the tag cloud s*cks. i am sorry, but it does. it looks like u have used WP cumulus for it. but you have gone and made it tooo small.

3. the theme is wonderful. i love simple themes

4. a few grammatical errors here and there. i would suggest writing first in MS Word or sth so that errors are eqasily spotted

 

To me, the header doesn't looks good because of the logo.
everything else looks good..

There is no logo.. simple text.. planning to get a logo soon

The text logo is fine. Don't get hung up in that, focus on content.

 

Your site is quite informative and nice. The theme is simple and impressive. I suggest if you could get some more users to write more content on site or if you could do something for that.

 

even if you don't remove it, try making it a little bigger
