well if it is "unauthorized" chances are you won't win the dispute...now since it is a virtual item...if you just provide as much details as you can when talking about the item..you will win the dispute...always... i know this sounds stupid..but it almost works..when they ask for tracking for a virtual item...in subject put thiswasavirtualitemnotphysical all together...and the subject put the same text with spaces...any box that pops up that talks about shipping put that...i really don't know why they include that when it is clear that the item is virtual...also...make sure you include any correspondence with the buyer...ask the buyer politely to respond promptly to the paypal claim and to let them know you authorized the transaction and you received your item....
From my experience, you are doomed to fail. As it's unauthorized and it's a virtual item for which there can't be any substantial shipping proof. Just let go, buddy. It happens like 1:20.
The e-mail from Paypal clearly states that payment sent to you is not authorized which simply means that your buyer is a fraud and he/she paid you from someone else's account by probably hacking it. I do not think you stand a chance to recover the money..though you may represent your case to Paypal to express your innocence. Regards, RightMan
You can sent all the chat/email session that you having with the buyer to paypal. Is the email that the buyer use to communicate with you same with the paypal email?
Have you delivered the stuff to buyer. If yes send that proof as well to paypal. Also, you should contact buyer and tell them about this mail from paypal.
It is impossible to totally avoid chargeback but you can avoid chargeback done by non-legitimate buyer. For example: The payment could be from someone who is using a hacked account. How do you know if this is the case? There are clues in the transaction details - for example you can check the domain name registrar detail of customer service email/paypal email and compare them. Hacker may change the paypal email of a hacked account to a free email but sometimes they forget to change the customer service email. Be cautious of a payment from a non-verified account. Be cautious of a payment which does not look normal to you. For example if most of you transactions are of certain amount, eg people only buy one or two items from you, when there is a person paying for all the items in a single transaction. You should look into this transaction. You can delay the delivery (slower than your normal practice). If the buyer does not email/contacts you, most likely it is not a legitimate buyer. If the buyer contacts you, you can gather more information about the buyer by asking few questions if you still have doubts.
where can i forward chat session with the buyer, paypal cannot give me to reply that email. sorry for this stupid question, but im still new in this business.
Is your buyer still responsive? To resolve this, I think paypal also needs a confirmation from the buyer. Best idea is to contact paypal support, providing all proofs you have and also let the buyer know this issue and see how he responds.
