Only directory backlinks is enough?

When you type link:www.examplesite.com in gg search. It selderm returns backlinks from directory sites. Does that mean gg overlook the links from directory? Which kind of links gg places more weight?

 

Goolge only returns a few backlinks. Directories never show for whatever reason. It is much better to use Yahoo Site Explorer...just type in the link: command into yahoo to get a better view of your backlinks!

 

Google always shows only so many of the links pointing back to any site.

Its not that its not showing many of the backlinks from directories, its that its not showing all of the backlinks as already stated.

 

What kind of backlinks is very important,
Better to choose quality directories to submit to.

 

Google doesn't return the 'best links'. I know some of my BEST links from great sites but they never show up in link: command.

Google does not show all backlinks of the site so that could be the reason it is not showing links from directoires.
