How long would it take to get 20$ a day in adsense earnings? Tell me your experiences and how you guys managed to get the earnings that you are getting now even if its only a few bucks. I tried searching google for poeple that made some success and all i could pull up is blog posts of poeple saying how to make 100 a day. Thats quit a big jump so thats why I would like to here how you guys are starting out and how everything is going and then talk about 100 a day.
Hi, Well, there are 2 kind of webmasters, people who got into webmastering because of adsense and the money making opportunity, these kind of webmasters struggle to make 1$ per day at the beginning.. the other king is people who were into the webmastering and websites before knowing about the adsense game, these people created solid websites, so when they added the adsense ads the earning was good from the first day! Personally, before starting with adsense, I created a website and I promoted it. So when I added the ads, I got about 10$ from the first day with adsense. How about you? What king of webmasters you are?
thats a good way to go about it. forget about adsense and not look at the earnings and just focus on content and then later in time just make a check and be surprised. I'm going to make it a goal not even to check my adsense earnings in the next month.
From my experience if you dont have 5k UV a day probably its not worth using any PPC . You better of just promoting your pages on those ad spots till you get some solid traffic and get more familiar with AdSense from these forums
It really depends on your niche and traffic, for some sites you need thousands of hits to get $20 a day and for others you'll need a couple hundred hits. Just really depends on your niche and traffic.
$20 a day is pretty hard in my opinion :/ good luck with it though. i'm only averaging $2-3 day with adsense
Disagree One of my site received only about 2000 UV but it generating about USD25 to USD35 a day. It depends on your niche actually
I think it's good to have goals, and $20 a day sounds much more reasonable than $100/day for those just starting out. But focusing on producing quality content does seem to be one of the major keys to success
Well said, that's some good insights. People are just too into money making and tries everything they know and have to do this. But as a nature of the huge number of people who's on this approach (let's face, majority of them are), most of them are doomed to fail. Simply because they just do what the rest does, over and over again.
For me, the key to doing what you're asking (other than the actual hours of sweat labor) is finding a niche with good paying keywords that doesn't have super high competition. If you can sniff that out and knock yourself to the front page of the search results for your terms (and assuming that these terms really have ads that can convert) then you'll have some steady traffic. I don't go after the hugest paying keywords because you have to look at the whole picture and recognize that anything truly lucrative is going to get mined by other webmasters so unless you've got a truly unique angle it's pointless to compete against 5 year old sites with hundreds of high quality backlinks and pages upon pages of good content. Pick something mid-range and over deliver to your visitor. Give them the information that's NOT on the net right now, make it look decent and don't provide so much info that they don't need to click the ads. That's a very important part of getting clicks, remembering to leave a reason for your visitor to click the ads Just my 2c
You are absolutely correct about the niche , what I ment is if he is not getting those at least when he starts he can use his ad space for self promoting his deeper pages . A have seen a lot of webmasters practice this and it actually makes good sense as to get your users deeper into your site.
It is not hard, If you have a good content and US, or UK visitors... In my case....It took just 5 month to touch $20. And now i am earning $30 average / day and it's increasing.
i have never made $20 a day..i lost focus with too many sites, but now i am getting back on track and focusing on quality content
Adsense earning depends on the targeted traffic that your site gets. The more traffic there is, the more you will earn. Now how much targeted traffic you need to earn $20/day from adsense? This depends on the different things, like CTR you have.
what if you find a good non competitive niche and you don't know much about this niche. How are you supposed to make a blog out of it then? Just learn about it?
To make money from adsense largely depend on your niche and traffic that goes to your site. Some niches pay as little as .03 cent per click and other niches pay as much as 9.00 per click. But these high paying niche are very competitive and you need to work hard on it and a lot of high PR sites for your backlinks. To get to 20.00 a day is again dependent on your niche and traffic so to concentrate more on getting content first and make them unique as possible.. thanks JulieV
