Hello, I started this site which is based on wordpress. There is a blog part, the regular blog stuff, and a static part which is entirely made of pages. So the blog indexes almost instantly. This is due to the embedded pinging, and it is fine and expected I think, right? The problem I have is with the other part of the site, made of pages. There is not rss feed for pages, no pinging for that I believe and it is not indexed. I know I should be indexed at some point. but how to get the pages indexed as fast as the blog?? Thank you
ok, did you read my question?? I said that one part gets indexed, not the other. It has nothing to do with links.
1 Backlink from a high pr site is the fastest way to get indexed, the social bookmarking trick no longer works.
Hey, Can some1 read the OP??? I am not talking about links and I am going to repeat the question. HOW DO YOU GET YOUR PAGES INDEXED AS FAST AS YOUR POSTS IN A WORDPRESS SITE. TYVM.
I think all the answer has answered straight to your questioned. If you need your pages get index as fast as wordpress then the link is a main key factor. Beside that you can try by submit XML sitemap to Google. This is not a wordpress sitemap but whole site sitemap which included every URLs in your site. If the sitemap has been updated regularly for a while then it would be a good chance for Google bot to visit your site more frequently and grab your page faster.
Thank you all for trying to help. Linking interlinking. hmm. The question is: WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A POST AND A PAGE AS FAR AS INDEXING IS CONCERNED. or is it not?
