Well outside it's hot here in Winnipeg Canada. I think it was like 33 celcius today (thats near 105 or so) but I have air conditioning in my house so it was alright. :p

I get around the problem by working nights. It's 5:30am here so if it's a warm day I'll be sound asleep before it gets uncomfortable.

Doesn't make for much of a social life, though :)

Actually, it's more like go to bed at 8am, intend to sleep through the heat and then wake up at 11 with an uncontrollable urge to go back to work. I can never escape, and because of this I now look a lot like Walter Matthau - and he's been dead six years.

Where I live the temperature doesn't usually get high enough to warrant the investment in an A/C unit. I do have a 6-foot high office fan, though.

It's been so warm here this week that we've had scrub fires burning for days behind our house. Bloody helicopters flying over at all hours to drop water on them. I live on the side of a hill, and from my bedroom upstairs I can see how the smoke has settled over the town below. A beautiful sight, really, and the smell of burning heather can be quite nice.

It was about 110 today. Massive power failures lead to rolling blackouts in the area. Power warnings were constantly being issued. ISP's were having massive connection problems.

Mother Nature: We will beat you down -- by melting your giant ice cubes in the ocean. FEAR US :D.

I love Hot Weather. I really like the 85-95 range espacially when it's humid. Miami weather suits my taste perfectly. Hot desert air is a little different, I find it to be more direct then humid tropical air.

Overall hot weather in big cities is a pain. People aren't used it. Plus 90% of America = overweight so that's not great either.

I think its been the hottest July on record here in the UK. The last few days have been hot but more pleasant. But I guess these temperatures are nothing compared to places in Asia, Africa.

It's not hot in my place. I turned my A/C down to 60 degrees just to stick it to the man (nature). :) Although it was so hot on Saturday that I tried to go outside to do something, and it was too hot... but then I was so bored in my house that I went and bought an Xbox 360. :) (all true BTW... right now I'm freezing my ass off because it's so cold in here.. heh)
