The ads have been down for 3 days now? Not looking good. Could have anything to do with how sluggish this site moves now or Google doesn't care about that?

I think that's right. DP's experimenting IP filtering that may be only showing adsense ads to North America. The eCPM, in such a case, should be much higher compared to that when ads are shown to all IPs.

IP Filtering sounds the most plausible to me, but on the other hand why would they AdSense has good ads for almost every country.

what I can think of now is that DP is holding off and suspended the adsense showing just in case the threat of adsense bombing from scientist is for real and not to jeopardize DP.

That is not good. I hope this thing will be resolved. Is this a problem if you become big player in adsense...? That some people will threatened you with bombing? I hope people would more considerate do it the fair game ... Way.

    Just my 2 cents

It does look like a ban, but unlike most bans it has a good chance of getting overturned - if Shawn gets involved and makes a fuss. But that's unlikely, dude seems to have moved on.

Beginning of the end for DP?

Then again, maybe the fact that the spigot got turned off will insert DP back into his list of priorities. Hmmm, could be a good thing.

For all those of you worried about being banned yourself, you should look into invalid click protection.

I'm sure there are other ways that DP could monetize without too much trouble.

    Do you work for DP?
Anyway, is there a DP admin that can comment on the speculations here?

Unfortunately, it seems that DP has been banned from adsense. The adsense javascript code is in the source code of the pages but no ads.
It was only a matter of time for this to happen. I believe ad revenue sharing always leads to click fraud.
