DP not working on Sify India ISP ??

Problem with your ISP i guess.

 

Since DP is not accessible in our place i am now using a proxy site to access dp, i doubt or wonder whether there will be any issues in accessing dp using such sites?? duplicate users, etc.???

btw, i am using beatfiltering.com to access dp right now.

 

Even i am using a proxy for browsing DP and its hell lotta pain using a proxy. The webpage doesn't display well, the scripts don't load, etc. i dunno when this problem will get rectified.

Yes, I always have this problem with DP. Look at this thread. DP's being left to die without any updates or anything. It's just really slow and taking the michael lol.

 

Well this is not an ISP problems that's sure. It is something wrong from DP end itself, since national ISP BSNL's local office denied any changes happened! So it's problem from DP site only and this problems started from Sunday when DP was down for long time. Since then all BSNL users have no access to open DP.

I wish DP Team look out the metter and solved it as many users are facing problems and using Proxy which is not secure one!

 

It's certainly not an ISP problem. I can open every other site including anything random, even foreign language and Russian sites. Only DP will not open? I have called everyone possible at Tata indicom and they can't understand how this can be. My ISP is absolutely functional, with no hassles.

This is not all. I'm not the only one who has been unable to login. As a writer, I usually conclude all business through PM's and now that is getting increasingly difficult. I'm not the oly person who can't access DP. I have contacted a few past clients, and the problem is visible only with individuals using Indian ISPs and each of them only find DP non accessible.

The only choice is to use proxys. Now comes another serious mater. If all DP users login problems start using a proxy site, at sometime people are going to use similar proxy sites in which case it may be looked upon as duplication of IP address wherein random innocent users will get branded as having multiple ids on DP.

This is just my perspective. Anyone has anything to say?

I think everyone who's having problems with DP access should say something here, and we can try and interact and think of a solution collectively.

I am located in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
I have a static IP from Tata Indicom.
I am unable to login since last Saturday, so it's already 8 days.

 

There must be a big problem in DP, It may be Database issue. Really disappointed about that. Please any responsible person start a thread to solve this issue.

 

i agree with neoloves. i m also on tata static ip and this doesnt open dp at all. the dp page cant be seen - forget loging in.
i have lodged complaints with tata - who have done possibly everything they can do but of no use and gave up. . when every site in the world can be opened -except for dp-- this calls for some checks at dp.

i hope in the interest of all the users who are suffering since 1 week., a solution shld be brought up -so we can see a smoth road ahead. i hope someone comes up soon to give a reasonable solutions. thanxs

I don't think anyone else from India have reported such issue.

What issues are you experiencing when you try and browse the site?

 

there must be ISP issue... or your cache problem... because its opening fine

 

I have done everything.. but still,it shows \'NETWORK TIMEOUT\' error message...

You're likely dealing with the same database issues others have been dealing with. It's not true that all of BSNL's users cannot access DP - reviewing the previous thread, you'll see that some in fact can access it fine through their service. If and when we find out anything to the contrary, we'll be able to tell you more. Until that time, please just be patient. It's not only visitors in India having problems with the site lately.

 

Find out the digitalpoints ip and try to ping it and see if it works

 

Its a long way to strain your eyes, from India to America to see DP

 

I had faced the same issues from last 2-3 days .... i couldnt see the site during Indian day timings, the site gets loaded only after the evening ... so i guess its something like only during American day timings (morning till midnight) we can see the site from India

 

You could try this - open up command prompt

type ipconfig /release
then ipconfig /renew

Then try coming onto dp again as normal, if that fails clear your cookies etc and then try again
