Hello , I have a verified personal paypal a/c {indian} and I do freelancer jobs and recieve payments in personal a/c .
    I recieve around 300$-400$ every month .
    1. Should I upgrade my a/c ?
2.If I withdraw this money to my bank a/c ,Is it allowed from personal a/c ?
3.How many of you use personal a/c to recieve money and transfer to your bank a/cs ?
I want to clear these doubts before I send money to my bank a/c from personal a/c

Based on new fee structure you need to pay fee for service in personal paypal account too IMO (not sure but few claims that) so why don't you go with premier account as you can get unlimited cc funded payment in your premier paypal account while in personal paypal account you can get limited number of cc funded payment (approx 5).

BTW you can withdraw funds to your bank account from personal paypal account too so there is no any problem in that.

The fee structure at paypal has recently seen a change and people are yet to get a hang of the same. Paypal seems to have introduced a transaction type 'personal' itself for carrying out fund transfer between friends and family and so I see no reason why they would continue with the personal account in future. It becomes irrelevant in the new scheme of things.

OP would do well to stay put since his total revenue is under $ 500 per month and he can perform all his requirements with personal account as of now....
No harm in waiting for more clarity for further action.

You can very well classify such transfers as personal and do the same without any fees! Just take care not to do it too often, to raise a red flag at their end...

It means if you do it frequently then may be you are in trouble (such as account limitations etc.) due to that

I used to have 2 Paypal account .. 1 Premier (For my Services) .. Personal (For my Withdrawl and Articles)

Today I talked to a Paypal representative and she briefly explained me about the Fee Structure!
So .. I closed my Premiere Paypal Account and Upgraded my Personal to Premier Account !

    For Freelancing..
I suggest if you are accepting low payment (below 100$) at a time so let the buyers send you directly ..
If you are accepting big payment than can ask buyer to sent payment via Personal Tab in "send Money" and we must ask them to leave a note like "Happy birthday to your dog" or something :p

But I guess most of the buyers will not prefer this as they might sense a scam in this!
Premier will be best IMHO! Fees are killing but still we have to manage!

    Regards
    RG
