I think they add that little bit extra to a visitors 'experience' of a site, and are great in favourites for identification. Is there a reason so few people make use of them? I think they're GREAT :D

Yes, they are really great! I do not understand why people do not use them more either. Favions really add to a site ;)

A site does look professional when it uses a Favicon.

I like favicons myself although I don't always get around to adding them to sites.

I think favicons really add to a website. Especially for bookmarking when the favicon sticks with the site name in your list.

Most sites don't bother with them because they either don't know about them, don't know how to use them, or the admin is just lazy. They are great for identification purposes, though.

Favicons are just a little bit more to draw people's eye. And you know what they say about every little bit ;)

That's right, easier to find in the bookmarks, easier to remember. The main utility in my opinion.

Such a simply little tool which gives you back a ton...

Great reminders to your visitors when they scroll through their bookmarked sites.

And of course bookmarked traffic = money
