Worst web hosting company -Yahoo!

Yahoo small business costumers, God must save them. ( I am one of them )

Got a problem in web hosting account with Yahoo, then you are gone. Write a mail to them, you will recieve a reply not less than 2 weeks. That too, the answers are the contents in thier Help section or not related to your question. Dont know what kind of people are working there and who recruits them and who recruited the recruiter?

Trying from Monday, got an idea on Friday, in step 2, pressed 2 (For new customer, but I am not).

Is this not the mannerism of the worst company in the world?

 

They was my first host after 3 weeks with them I had a problem with my cpanel on stats. A page would get hit then go back to zero showing not a page was looked at. They claimed the page was not looked at, I was runnnig a ppc with yahoo pages was ads was clicked i even sold products. yet the pages was not hit accordning to them it would show pages hit then2 hour's later it went down back to zero. This went on for month then they found the problem I gave them to the end od march that year to fix it they said they would. April first I closed the account and went to my current host I had that problem with yahoo 5 months they can suck a egg.

 

Namecheap for me - They lags a lot , and dns change take a huge time.
Its my personal experience though , didn't try yahoo as got many reviews that they suck.

 

I have used godaddy in the past. But Hostgator is the best for the price. Their support is superb.

 

Yahoo webhost is not as bad as the one from OneANDOne hosting.. it sucks big time

 

Their customer support is exists, but to be sorry state, it is only for new customers. When a existing customer wants to contact they wont allow you and encourages mail communication only, where we wont get replies.

If we get the phone line in other way, the second you revealed that you are existing customer, the phone automatically disconnects.

My laundry man, dont do that. He picks the call and says clothes are not ready... give some time.

Thats why Yahoo! is loosing.

 

My friend wasn't happy with prostores.

its called yahoo web hosting because once you get in touch with there customer service (after the 100th time) you shout YAHOOO finally.

 

try dreamhost it is great and i did not encountered any problems regarding their hosting.

Yes, i will prefer host gator rather than yahoo hosting.

A friend has been trying to convince me to switch to their host service. I guess I needto do some more homework. I appreciate the advice.

 

Why are you using Yahoo? I suppose the Yahoo stock falling should have warned you...

Take my advice - do some good research.

Many people have suggested Hostgator. Hostgator, a Dallas, TX based company, is a good place to host.
They have great service, and LOTS of support.

The phone number works! I called them once to do a account verification.
The woman replied and quickly resolved the issue. Now THAT'S decent service.

I do have a site hosted there. It is myscreen.us.to (not to be advertising though - I still haven't setup my site yet.).

 

Dude I'm also using namecheap but I always said the opposite thing - I've tried GoDaddy and other domain registars and namecheap has the fastest change time of all of them!

 

Many people don't even know yahoo is a web hosting company lol

 

Thats why I moved to hostgator when I try yahoo hosting.
