Advertising for a Proxy?

    Hello all.

Going to start up a ton of proxies in the hopes of bringing in a little extra advertising revenue - I don't use AdSense so I'm curious which advertising network would be appropriate for a proxy?

Any advice is appreciated. :) Thanks!

I'm not seeing anything relevant to my question there. Could you give me a more specific link please?

I've been using AdBrite, but I've never really been fond of them. Does anyone know a better advertising network for a proxy?

i know that FreedomFighter1210 is banned, but this should help other peoples thinking abuot proxies.

First, if You don't have an idea how to create a proxy you can download free, ready to use proxies with templates ( for example from here ),
set it up on Your hosting ( practically copy files on server and Your own ads codes ) , about ads i think that 1/2 ad from Adsense and 1 CPM ad on main page + 1 CPM ad on proxified page should do You some good profit ( the list of CPM companies can be found here ). So, Your proxy is ready to go, now for advertising Your proxy - good thing would adding Your proxies to lists/yahoo groups/practically everywhere people need to using proxies, simple link to Your proxy with short info about it is enough. The most important thing in this moment is to have Your proxy always online, many proxies have problems because of bandwith limit exceeded etc. - that scares users off Your proxy site.

    Well, that's about it :)

yeah, You can see this list of web hosts for proxies - some of information about hostings can be little outdated, because I did not update the list from some time now :)

Yeah, but they pay pretty low, not worth having them on your site, waste of ad space.
