    Hello

I was thinking...it would be so cool to open a General category in Buy/Sell/Trade section where DP members could buy and sell ANYTHING and EVERYTING! (except illegal stuff of course). Books, DVDs, electronics etc.

I know that there is already eBay but, still...:) I think it would have generated a lot of interest....Just a thought........

    Cheers everybody!

If you look closer, there already is ;)

Anything that doesn't fit in the leaf categories can go in the one you mentioned in your title.

Yes, you can. If there's supply or demand, DP can have it.

Weapons, young children, class A drugs, body parts and feces are some of just a few exceptions.

Fair enough, if your iPod Nano's battery was broken and you sell a 6 year old on a threadmill with it for juice generation then I can see the need to bend the strict rules here Tyler. Do post minimum nutrition needs etc. to be fair on the prospetive buyer.

Thats really weird. Someone actually made a bid of $1 there. Maybe the bid is form that kid only.

Sometimes, i think these ebay guys put up these weird auctions to make their site interesting.

    I want a LEPRECHAUN!!!

I was going to bid, heck $1.04 may get it.

Then I read the fine print...just a picture in a box, with the spirit.
you are bidding on a box, with a drawering of Schott inside, and Schotts spirit, whether u feel it or not, is completely up to you.

So I did not bid...I want a live one that I can see.

How about selling old people here?
I have an annoying old fart (yeah, older than me by far!) living two houses down and a buyer can have him.

There is a reason why people bid on those auctions actually. That type of auctions are very poplular, get a lot of visitors (because they are so unusual) and are usually featured on websites like http://www.auctiongab.net.

When you are the highest bidder on an item, your eBay ID and eBay store (!) link shows up on the top and this is a great way to drive traffic to your store and listings. I tried it a few times by bidding on an absolutely wierd stuff like a single toothpic :D, and I must say that it does work sometimes! And you get outbid most of the time so, you don't even have to pay anything...
