I use Twitter, delicious, stumbleupon and facebook most of the time.. What other sites do you use to get immediate traffic ?
Digg was great (should still be #1) but they just removed the shouts, losing most of the effect. Next best thing that works for me so far are Reddit and Clipmarks.

It's a long storry, but generally has different functionality and community. What works and gets popular in Digg may not work on Reddit and vise versa. Plus Digg had "shouts". You could shout to your friends "Hey, look at my link. Feel free to shout me back any time". Which could be critical because if enough people vote, the article may become popular > seen and clicked by much more and have a huge traffic for a couple of days. Now some try to use twitter or IM to gain the same.

i mostly use the following http://www.mixx.com http://www.stumbleupon.com http://digg.com http://technorati.com http://del.icio.us.com but the problem is social bookmarking doesnot give you relevant traffic.
