I found a few products that I would like to promote, and they say I can be an affiliate and sell them through Clickbank. I got an account, but I am not sure about how the links work. An example of a product I am trying to sell is Bookmarking Demon. I found their link, and it was something like this: http://xxxxxx.bookdemon.hop.clickbank.net?pid=1 Code (markup): Where xxxxxx would be your nickname/username. So i put my username in there and now all my links lead to that, but is that all I need to do? I just get people to click on that link, and if they buy it will show up in my Clickbank account? I'm brand new to Clickbank, so any help would be greatly apprecaited.
though the linking part of it is correct, just putting a pic of the product(for instance) alongside the content may not be enough..u may not need to review the product or frankly talk about the merits so that people buy into your trust before buying the product.
Replace xxxxx with your nickname and insert it to your LP. If people buy from your site, you will get paid.
Yeah I was sending around that link, I just wanted to make sure it was the correct way to get refferal credit if someone purchases it. @tanakanewyork, What is my LP?
Well can't I promote it as an affiliate with banner ads on another website, not necessarily build an entire website with a landing page about just one product?
You don't have to have landing page for just one product. You can use banner ads or anything as long as you put your affiliate link there.
