Since I'm in the market to buy a new car, I've discovered that Mitsubishi.com actually points to a "forbidden" page. I think it has been this way for years, too...why on earth would Mitsubishi allow that to happen
Nissan motors failed to snap up Nissan.com and Uzi Nissan registered it for his budding computer building company after having used Nissan(his family name) for years as a business. It took Nissan Motors over 5 years to finally get around to thinking that this internet thing isn't just a fad, so they sued him for the domain and $10,000,000 in damages, even though he had been using the name Nissan back when Nissan didn't even exist, it was Datsun back when he started his first company. I do not have anything to do with either Uzi Nissan, or Nissan Motors... I just think that its a prime example of a large corporation screwing with a smaller one, because they dropped the ball, For more examples of that just start a company and use the word Monster in it anywhere, wait 3-6 months and you will be contacted by the lawyers of Monster Cable, and they will make your life so much hell that you will most likely settle out of court because they are fond of tying up the court cases and running up lawyer bills of the defendants. I remember reading about a day care called Little Monsters or something like that getting the C&D from them and it ended up costing him the business just to pay off the lawyers.
I always thought mitsubishi cars are bit cheap (besides their evo rally cars), seems like their IT department is too
