CJ url/image redirects

I am not sure if I am missing something here.

When I try to generate the HTML in cj with a new url from the advertiser it is OK.

But when I try generating the HTML with the image re-directs, it just has some problems.

Can any one advise on how to use CJ's image redirects?
Ofcourse, this is about when the advertiser allows such redirects.

When I try using a different URL in image redirect, it shows two images and one points to a wrong path.

Have you used the image redirect? If so, what url do u give for the image path?

Is it on our site's server or the advertiser's server?

 

Are you using their new javascript link?
It wouldn't surprise me at all if there were problems with this little-used feature in their new Javascript links.

I've only ever tried it with their old "legacy links".

The way it is supposed to work is that you can give it the full url of any image. The idea is that it would be on your server, but it can be any url.

 

Yes. I am using the new Javascript link and it screws me left & right. Hmm! I should probably send some complaint to CJ & ask them to fix it.

 

I generated a content link using the javascript this weekend and just happen to notice the links weren't working. I switched it to legacy and replaced the code and it worked fine.
