Do you think DP is the best webmaster forum?

I think it is definately the most interactive. Also, I like the color scheme, its nice and easy on the eye and best of all, the forum subsections are highly organised. The problem with Webmasterworld is that everyone there seems to have "I know it all" attitude. Here, eveyone is mostly very nice to each other. I realise some people here will also be on Webmasterworld using diffrent aliases (but I don't think there are too many).

 

I agree. Most are very good to communicate with. However, there are some real nasty ones lurking too!

 

Hate to point out the obvious but obviously you are going to get lots of yes's since you are asking on this forum.

Go over to any other forum and ask if they are the best and they will all say yes

 

Out of all the webmaster forums I visit each and every day, this is definitely the best one.

Mind you, also the worst one.

I tried WMW but never could get into it. Their rules are too strict IMO.

But I spend most of my time on the Macromedia forums, er... Adobe forums.

I spend time at 4 other WM forums, and I like this one because it's a good size. The mods here aren't overly aggressive, and there's a certain level of maturity that a couple of the others are missing.

 

I agree, but I have been on several and I have made this one home for the reasons I have mentioned in the OP. Also, I think the response rates on some of the ones is slow compared to this.

 

As regards information on SEO yes. What it lacks compared to other forums is that it is not programming oriented.

E.g. Digitalpoint is better as regards SEO, Marketing of website but lacks in programming languages discussion compared to sitepoint.

 

I agree that there is a lot more elsewhere for the coders, but that's what I like about this place. It doesn't try to be all things to all people.

I don't believe it;s the best. I don't believe there is a "the best" forum since we're all looking for other things and maybe favour other forums. It's a good forum no doubt about it ... I am active in tens of webmaster forums .. didn't yet find one to be the best

 

Digital Point is definitely the best webmaster forum and probably always will be.

It's just the best!

 

Pretty good place to buy and sell, and learn more on SEO

Otherwise, theres other specific forums I go to for PHP and graphics help etc

DP rocks beyond all other webmaster forums. Webmaster World = no links in sig
SitePoint = pay to post sales threads. V7N = dead most of time

 

I say DP is the best forum ever!, all the other forums either have mods who are unfair, or make you pay alot just to be on the forum. DP is the only forum that is great!
