Hello all, Here is another clickbank journey. I will keep it as transparant as possible to you guys and hope we can all learn from each other. Affiliate marketing made we realy enthousiatic. I start out by answers on WoW-Related questions. i dont play wow, but just asked a friend. I posted the clickbank link (zygor) with it. It didnt work you i let it go. Two months later i saw a sale O_O, well, i try it again, but now more serieus. i will keep it very transparant. I am using a free co.cc domain and free hosting, that redirect to wow zygors, i have made 16 articles in my spare time and submitted them to eza. Got allready other articles at eza, but still basic+. anyways here are the article titles, i made in my spare time while not learing final examns: the articles have very general tips on 'how to level'. The guide forms a supplement on the last tip. this is my articles layout blah blah lead... Header 1 - you should .... bla bla bla Header 2 - you should .... bla bla bla Header 3 - you should .... bla bla bla Resource box, in the later articles, i started to itallic words or fragments that are important to get attention to the mainpoints. /edit: forgot to include my goal /inital goal $200 (enough for some customized mid-high nike airs <3) Total money mand: $0 Articles Online: 0 Pending: 16 Submissions left: 4 Moral: High
It actually doesn't have to do anything that you put in your email. Just keep submitting more articles and if you get them approved without any problems, they will upgrade you to platinum anyway.
After I posted this, i managed to take out another 3 articles before i went to sleep, i woke up today and wrote my lastest submission, so i guess i need to wait now =( im considering stockpiling articles and submit them all at once, or is it better to release 5 a day when i become platinum? anyways, hopes are high, my first 3 articles are aproved and have allready generated some clicks. No sales unfortuanetly but im guessing i need more then 20 clicks.. (1 sale per 150 hops, is that a possible nr?) im directly linking to wow zygor
THIS IS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE, Yesterday 3 articles went online, and now im allready on 1 sale O_O man, it was from i have only gotten around 24~30 clicks, man im starting to like this thing =) the other spike was due to a sale on youtube i copied and reuploaded an review video, this one inspired me to try articles once again
Only sold one of these products but never really put any effort into it, I'm sure its profitable so might go into it!
Good job! Loving the work effort! Keep on testing and tweaking and you'll get your ctr...and ultimately your sales way up! Here's one article CTR tip that has worked for me tremendously: Have a short resource box that is very appealing and straight to the point. Also, put an "action phrase" at the beginning of your bio box in bold to catch your readers attention. hmm,thanks, i will try it, sounds interesting. what i do now is blend in the resource box with the last tips, to complement. However people tend to scan pages for information, so bolding the resource box and make it stand out doesnt sound to bad =), I have also found that a negative title gains more views then a positive one so instead of 3 tips to level ..., 3 Reaons Why you fail, has attracted far more clicks and views

no sale today, im extremely bored today... and im still waiting for the other 9 articles to be approved, 1 of rejected, but after a minute re-reading and changing some error it got accepted within the day. Im now reading some forums, to expand my knowledge and find new topics to write better qualilty articles about, to see if these convert better then regular tips. I dont like the ammount of click i get ... please take a look, see if this normal, good or very bad stats i have made some more articles with the bolded resource box as ajbarnes suggested. The Call-To-Action is a bit more pushy: 'Gain more Experience Points Today, then you gained this entire week! ....this guide '-kind off line, instead of You realy should use '...'s Guide'. i also removed the products name and replaced it with 'this guide' or this 'In-Game ad-on'. Article Online: 11 Articles Pending: 9 Total Money Made: $45.xx (2 sales) Moral: Extremely Bored
i just submitted 5 articles that were approved to articlesbase also, with some other articles, i have experienced some traffic from it, but more importantly it seems that other site SCRAPE articlesbase more then EZA
submiteed 6 articles today, 21 online, 1 sale. those 6 articles have the new resource box as suggested trying to get the ctr up. only one sale in total still, but i need more waiting i think.. anyways i have made an nice excel sheet to track performance, please tell me if this ctr is normal high or low
hmm, i made another 1 article, but i am letting it go for two weeks, only made 1 sale in total from these stats(--> nice excel sheet), anyone has tips on how much longer before i should expect a sale, or put more effort in it?
Try this out: Instead of having a title and article that is based around giving out tips, tricks, and strategies, make your articles more targeted to what it is you are promoting. For example, let's say I am promoting a six pack abs program. Instead of: "5 Tips On How To Get Six Pack Abs Fast" I'll Use This: "Get Six Pack Abs Fast - See Which Program Works The Best To Flatten Your Stomach!" Now, here is how my article would go to prevent it from sounding to "salesy" (I know that's not a word!): 1. Ask the reader if they would like to get six pack abs without doing a billion crunches, etc. Then I'll say "take a couple of minutes to read this article and learn more". 2. Speak on why strictly doing crunches, fad dieting, etc. do not work. 3. Introduce the product I am promoting VERY softly such as: "Through out my research, the best program I've come across to help develop six pack abs without the fad diet nonsense, and using those crazy ab machines is the blah blah program." 4. Speak briefly about why this program works well and what separates it from the others. 5. End the article by saying something like: "So, if you would like to get six pack abs quickly and easily, then I recommend you tryout the Blah Blah program." 6. Use the resource box structure I mentioned earlier. 7. $$$ Doing the above should get you more "targeted" readers and therefore more "targeted" visitors to your landing page or hoplink. Writing "informational, tips, etc." types of articles will get you people who are just looking for some free information. I place those types of articles on my blog.
