Do you all remember when Microsoft Launched Live? Same Hype.....Remember Cull?...same hype. Google even stated "We welcome the competition". I will continue to use Google
Bing tends to focus extremely heavily on Onpage SEO...some may think that is a good thing to avoid spam, but what it does is force people to go extremely niche and keyword stuff their onpage seo versus natural wording. In Google at least you can have the word listed once and still rank for it if others link to you with that phrase (which makes more sense). Don't see anything special here...still early though.
I like it. It's worth bookmarking and using for a while. I really like the options on the "images" section. Much better then Google.
I like this search engine a lot. Personally I think it's very aesthetically pleasing, and the preview function is actually quite impressive. The speed is fantastic - and the relevance, well it's looking fairly good. Overall, looking to be quite a good search engine.
As I said in another thread, Google is much better for my country search . Still, Bing is promising - it's not yet real threat for Google, but for struggling Yahoo! is. Definitely agree. Image section is better (for me) than Google.
No. Both Live and Cuil sucked in search results from the start, they sucked big time. Bing.com is different. Results are relevant and relatively clean. There are a few rough edges but this is definitely the new Google competitor. I for one have added Bing.com to the Firefox search and I'm using it all day, so far I am not going back to Google. Feels great!
Maybe one day Microsoft will do something that's worth talking about. They should have stuck with just improving their original search engine instead of trying to be unnecessarily innovative. It's a search engine! It's used to search...meaning people are looking for particular results. Tackle that feat, and the rest is pointless.
It looks good but it tries to copy Google too much? I saw that certain listings in Bing have sitelinks, just like Google does for certain sites. Other than that, it does look nice but it still remains to be seen if it can challenge Google.
