what would you do, if you got Threat Email from Competitor?

    Hi guys, i got a email saying that my site will be hacked and my AS accnt will get terminated if I dont direct traffic to their site via a banner on main page ...

    what what you guys do?
    its probably a lil kid trying to scare me...

    im just ignoring it...

    Get his site url and report it and then forward the email to Google and also the FBI.

    Wow, how old is your competitor. I think you should just ignore it, and relax and (you can post it on your site blog if you have one, will give visitors some laugh..and talk to google about the Adsense stuff perhaps)

    pay some money and advertise his site in 10.000.000 spam mails. make sure you use his real email-address as sender, so he may get 3-8.000.000 bounces.
    and if this is not enought, write something like "every 5th sign up get a free ipod nano!!!". im sure this will give him a lot of traffic :D

    Yes, keep it on your computer & report it to the authorities, then send an email back to the person who sent you the email informing them what you have done.
    This way they will more than likely not do anything to your site & secondly if they did you have evidence pointing to them as the culprit.
    Also they will see you are not going to be pushed over easily & focus their attention on other, easier targets.
