How do I get started with CPA? How do you make money off of it? Is there a specific forum here on DP that focuses on CPA (I searched, but couldn't find boards with "CPA" in their descriptions)? Please help out a newbie. Thanks!
In order to make money with CPA offers you must apply to CPA networks. I have a CPA network called WeeklyDirect.com - We specialize in biz-opp, email submits, diet, skin care, edu campaigns.
Making money with CPA is pretty simple. Just sign up with a bunch of CPA networks such as maxbounty, cj, azoogle hydra etc... choose an offer and promote it. You can promote it by PPC, video marketing, article marketing etc.. There are many ways. Of course, it's not that simple. Making some money with CPA offers is very easy but making a living out of it... well... that's a whole different story. If you have some money to spend then I suggest that you master PPC. Then all you have to do is promote a goof offer trough PPC companies such as adwords. Good luck!

CPA is a cost per action offer. From now on, you move focus from getting someone to click on the offer, to figuring out ways to get the page itself to convert. it's kind of weird going from working on anything to get the most clicks, to figuring out how to get someone to pass their details or make a purchase online. a few tips: make sure your website is VERY relevant to the offers you want to run. do NOT try sending a lot of traffic to the offer, and then begin to optimize say once you've ran maybe 100 clicks through. make many small changes on the page. also many pubs wont let you host their offers if you want to optimize - try creating a media relationship. a good conversion rate would be around 10%. Try to get ones that pay $3-6 a lead, and avoid any high ticket items like buying a business for $100 even if its a $60 cpa it probs wont back out.
There are SO many CPA networks, just google them. pick out offers that relate to your website, and then pop up the banners. You do not make money from every click you send, you ONLY make money once the USER completes an ACTION (email submit, lead submit, sale) the way i was talking was fairly involved with the publisher, you can get to know them, start getting exclusive offers, host them and optimize them yourself, but if you aren't looking to get complicated, just get some offers up. if this is too complicated, just stick with PPC, its much simpler.
