Hi, I'm new to Affiliate marketing. I've seen this software called associate-o-matic that works with an Amazon Associates. Does anyone have experience with this? Thanks.
It's discussed in this thread: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=89944 Also, there are free scripts out there that are just as good: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=66398
The AOM comes with two version: lite version which is free and full version which cost $99. It is a great application.
The AOM lite puts your amazon ID in 90% of the time and than there is a 10% chance that there ID will be placed in the link. That should help you get a better idea of how they do it.
I have a site i used it on, www.bestautopartsonline.info Its a hosting bandwidth (and disk space) killer too.. (thank god for VPS) Whats funny, i make more from google ads than the amazon referals. lol
I have many Amazon shops between two sites all built with the free 'lite' version. If you find you make tons of money and don't want to have Associate-O-Matic getting 10% just upgrade, change certain files on your server and nothing is noticeable to your viewers.
what script did you used for your site? And is there any free script on amazon that used e-commerce script like http://www.orderitontheweb.com ?
Is PPC cost-effective with AOM, or is organic traffic enough? Does Google put these sites in the supplements due to duplicate content?
AOM is very suitable for affiliate marketers who have little or no programming skill. It's very easy to install. I Recommend it.
