I need a review of my fairly new site: www.skodafabiavrs.com Its about a car called the 'Skoda Fabia vRS' Also review of the logo would be good...
Looks good from a purely visual perspective but it could probably do with a bit more categorisation. If it's a site about "all things skoda vRS" then perhaps it needs to be broken down into different pages rather than presenting in the blog format that it currently is. I would agree that the logo is pretty massive as well, almost pushes the content below the fold on my laptop.
Thanks for the feedback, the template I got from a free template website and couldnt be bothered messing around with the logo size to make it smaller - dont know what it would do with the other aspects of the page I havent quite finished adding all the content to the site yet so havent got all the categories etc sorted properly What do you think I should put on the front page to fill the big gap under the introduction post once ive removed the other posts from the front page?
It may seem simplistic, but I think some pictures of this car are in order. I've never heard of this car and have no idea what one looks like. I really didn't care for the blue text on a blue background. I think white would be more attractive and readable. Just my preference, I guess. I don't mind black backgrounds if they are accented with other colors used sparingly. The whole page seems too dark.
Header of the site is too big. You should make it short so that maximum useful information visitor should get in first sight.
You should make the link to the forums easier to find. Took me a little searching to see it on your website. Like others said your top banner is too big. Good placement of your google ads. Looks good overall.
I think the banner image and title took most of the spaces in the home page, try to decrease its size to make the less scroll process..
nice look site... but ur colour mix make me sleepy, hehehe... to soft... mebi u can give light in ur backgroud...IMHO but overall, ur design is great..n cool
Yep !! 1) Site Height !!! Content goes so low in the site !!! Didnt get why so much space left btwn the image and header 2) One side of the page , line doesnt appear !! 3) Home , Gallery , Home ?? Two Home Pages !! 4) Black n Blue Comb is Good !!! But in the Blue Background, blue font comes !!! if u r too hesistant abt changing color, you can have visitors attract the content by changing the font 5) Again lot of space left out after the content also !!! Pool is come great content to pool in the visitors .. Lot of space cause lot of scroll !! 6) Logo and logo font is good !!
I agree that the header image is a bit large. And the color of the text makes me feel sleepy, too. The photos are nice, though.
I think the header is very large, the logo is very good, I like it, but it's too big.I don't like the blank places fill it! Maybe you can change the logo/header width and to put the categories widget in its right, that will help to solve the problems with the blanks
