Twitter - Is this a good marketing tool?

I feel sorry for all of the inexperienced people being mislead by reading this idiotic thread.

This thread should be locked, like all of the other dumbass Twitter threads, and some of these posters banned for spreading shit.

 

I think that it takes a little while to get going. You need to get followers, and then you need to get those followers interested in what you have to day, so you must be willing to provide good info throughout the day. Once you have things going well, then you start getting them to your sites. Hopefully your site is not a sales page, but more like an informative place with a valuable opt in. Then they are on your list as long as you treat them great there. Now you have people who have followed you all around, I am guessing that they are going to be a little easier to sell to know that they know who you are, like what you provide, and trust you. ----->This will not happen over night, over a couple of weeks, or possibly even over a couple of months. You need to be willing to put the work in!

It converts well for me but you need a lot of followers to get to that point. anything below 5k followers doesnt do much for traffic or conversions for me.

 

twitter is the best marketing tools for me..
and more over the salesletter is giving me more kicks

 

Of course twitter is one of best great free traffic source.

catch your followers attention with a straight to the point (140 characters) yet enlightening 'tweet', and they will blindly follow you to your site in curiosity to find out more.

P.S: try following people who follow other twitter users who have similar niche to your own, odds are they will accept to follow you back and will be interested in what you have to offer.

 

I love twitter! I love anything that allows me to make new contacts and drive free traffic to my site.

 

Twitter is an awesome marketing tool and will only continue to get better as more and more people join. I know some people who get 75% of their traffic from twitter.

 

So I take it twitter isn't working out for you?

Twitter just like any social network can work for you if you work at it. I can get 1000's of clicks a night if I find some good information to Tweet about.
