I do seo and for Google you need high quality dofollow links.

Ever sinced I switched my work exclusively to getting these my rankings in Google have risen dramatically even in competitive markets.

So if you don't want to spend ages finding them yourself spend the money on getting them from an existing source. There are several around but if you would like to talk to me about working together I would be happy to help you out.

Either way high quality links that are dofollow will give you the edge. A few of these are worth many times what most of the links sold by people will give you. With your budget, depending on your keywords, you should be able to make good progress and quite quickly.

Some here may disagree. But I would take $299 out of the first month's budget to submit to the Yahoo directory.

 

You could do better with your $299 and get qualities links, i dont see the advantage of what yahoo directory is gonna do to your site

 

you can try different keywords on adwords.

 

I'd use it to get some viral content. Get some GOOD (not cheap) writers to deliver some linkbait pieces, likewise some linkbaity-videos.
Grunt work comes cheap - good content comes dear.

 

I would suggest you to go for SEO and get organic ranking.
