Before 5 months I have submitted one of my website in all major search engines, Google, Ask delivered good traffic, whereas Yahoo didn't searched any single page of my website.

Please share some ideas to get traffic from yahoo.

    Thanks in advance

Log into your yahoo account, then go to the yahoo site explorer page. The sitemap you submitted to your google webmaster tools, submit that same sitemap to your yahoo site explorer tools. If you do not have a sitemap, submit a RSS feed to yahoo site explorer.

And you do not have to submit your site to search engines. Ten years ago you did, but not today. If you have a few backlinks, the search engines will find your site. To help search engines find pages on your site, you should be submitting a sitemap directly to them.

Besides the yahoo site explorer, create an account at yahoo 360 and yahoo blog log. Add a link to your site on both of those pages.

I have the same scenario just like you do and all I can say was.. I'm trying
to use some techniques to generate traffic from yahoo. I was answering at
yahoo answer and yes it really works.

Yahoo like Google will follow links for finding and crawling the web pages of the sites online. The links in the sitemaps can be great and also the incoming ones.
