Have a site for, 5 yers old have 30 k , the question is: Sometimes my traffic rise a lot and my server is overloaded , can this problem to affect my SEO if the site is working slowly for a few moments? Shoud upgrade server? Can google said " your site is working slowly for this problem you wil never go on the first page" Thanks.
Hmmm... not sure about that, but if the server gets overloaded they might put your site down. If a page which is down is accessed by X number of users or google bot , the seo rankings will fall. I've experienced it first hand.
It will not likely happen unless this is an ongoing and highly repetitive thing. But what worries me is that you are only wanting to upgrade your server for Google. If your site keeps going down, are you not losing money ?
If your site goes down then it will affect your sales. People do not like to visit sites which are constantly down resulting in loss of loyal visitors. If you are getting revenues from your present site, why not go for an upgrade?
if you have a 30K traffic i would advice you to upgrade your server, and if you have that traffic that means that your are earning money from that, so why not upgrade in an VPS ?
Hey buddy if you have that kind of traffic make sure you have everything setup for this high traffic and also try to upgrade the server..

may be...if due to server overload Google bots can not access ur site..depends on probability of jam session and Google bots visit at the same time!...so better u upgrade it
