I have had this website for a few months now and it has decent traffic. It has a forum with over 600 members already, and AWStats says I am getting around 100-150 unique visits per day. SMF stats puts my daily pageviews for the forums at around 1500. I know this is peanuts to some of you, but I don't feel that the site has reached anywhere near it's full potential yet. The site is GetPaidScene.com On this site I give away a free script, which is what has attracted most (if not all) of the visitors so far. There are also a few other random things on the site for people interested in the "GetPaid" niche, but they are pretty useless since the majority of my visitors are webmasters. I have never been the best at monetizing websites, and could really use some help getting on the right track with this website. I would very much like to see the site making some sort of income. I also want to make the site more useful to visitors, and more content based for better ad conversions (if/when I put ads on the main site). So I am here on DP looking for someone that knows what they are doing, and wants to help me out. Suggestions are welcome with open arms as well. Thanks
That's a very kewl site. Why don't you put some adsense onto the page. Also, I saw there's a donate button. You can say put a fix figure monthly that you need to maintain the site and whether the target has been reached or not for the month. Hope this helps. Traffic, traffic, traffic. Just work on building traffic and the money will come. Ads, affiliate products, etc.

You should add more donation option such as moneybooker,egold,2co. And your forum is not active,buy some forum poster to post at your forum to generate more content so that you monetize it with CPM ads.
For web optimization you need to have a concept first. Once the keyword is clear, start building natural organic links. outsource if possible (it really helps). Keep variation in anchor text so that they look natural. and monitor anchor text frequently. A time will come you will have plenty of backlinks and your website will rank higher for your concept or keyword. If you have a mixed concept, it is very difficult to rank higher for all of them. You do not have any ads on the home page. You have ads in forums but forums have very low CTR. Also, I think you should increase the number of ads that you have in the forum. Also try different ad placements and see which one works the best for you. See which ad placement give the best CTR.
