Christian Website - Baptist Church Directory Very Profitable

* It is a directory of over 25000 Baptist churches. It also has a topsites script with app 90 members.

*The website is almost 6 years old.

* It is custom directory php script that I created. This is the only website that uses it. The topsite is Aardvark topsites. The buyer will receive the script and full rights to it. I bought two databases 4 years ago with Baptist Church data but all additions since then have been organic.

* All traffic is organic from Search Engines, Topsite button, or direct. I have not promoted the website at all.

*According to statcounter, it currently receives an average of
- 60k pageview per month
- 24k unique visitors per month

* It has been monetized with Adsense, Text-Link-Ads
- $2436 in Adsense revenue for May 28. 2008 - May 28, 2009
- Average Monthly Adsense is $200
- $15 per month from Text-link-ads

* The only maintenance the site has is approving/declining new/updated/deleted listings. It takes about an 1hour a month. The updates are emailed to you and you click a link to either approve or decline.

Why is there a dramatic drop in traffic starting Mid-April? (aprox. 50% drop)

The website's traffic used to be well over 1k, after around mid April, it dropped to 500 or so uniques per day. This also reflects in your adsense stats (you will notice the site no longer receives $10 days, of which you had 3 in the first half of April).

 

Good question about the traffic drop. Will all the links stay in place for how long after the sale? Why are you selling?

 

The site averages 6-7 dollars a day and has for 2 years. For about a week in April traffic doubled, I don't know why. The site has always ebbed and flowed but stays pretty consistent at 500 uniques per day.

You are free to remove any links you like after the sale. I am selling to pay off debt. I have two large Christian forums and Christian web hosting company that may also be sold.
