Branding my name/logo would be my choice if SEO was covered.
I'd give out t-shirts and mugs, or anything else with my name on it.

I think that is what he hoping to do with this post..."Get free marketing techniques and strategies"..guess that's what most of us are doing here besides showing off our wares.

 

If you're a SEO professional then most of your sites should be ranked on or near the top for all the keywords you want already.

Maybe invest the $800 elsewhere in the busines then.

Yeah right--- because every seo professional gets every single term highly ranked every single time and never needs any improvement.

 

there a lot of things on SEO, try to search some of it's ways this would help you

 

1.- How much competitive is your niche?
2.- How you doing in search engine results?

Impossible to give you any advice without this info

 

Go for the press releases as well, it works better with article submissions , go for SMO(social media optimization)

First you need stats.

What keywords are bringing organic traffic to the site?
What keywords are converting to sales?

If you don't have any idea yet you can spend $200 on an Adwords campaign to test which keywords will bring sales and are worth the effort.

Then put good articles on your site for these keywords.

Get quality articles written for these keywords and submit them to article directories.

Outsource social bookmarking of your site and the articles.

As backlinks build up your ranking should improve.

I was about to make a suggestion, but now here's one professional who won't help you. If you're asking for help, don't be rude.

With 800 USD i would do the following:
- buying regular directory links (Yahoo, Joeant, BOTW) - just to have them if not already
- analyze top landing pages or the pages that generate most revenue and see their incoming kws (separate SEO/SEM)
- acquire professional page optimizer (someone like GrokDotCom) to fix page copy, call-to-action, sales process
- setup regular press-releases with new products etc
- in the end - buy some links (but carefully)

why? first of all it seems you generate some revenue, and boosting more traffic will probably not boost you internal processes... so first optimize all of the processes possible and than acquire more traffic... otherwise those 800 USD are not wisely spent

well I suggest to divide it into to part the first part on payed advertisement and the second part is for several seo specialist.

2. Buy PR based links- $50 per PR 5 - one time cost.

3. Start a blog- either on your site or at blogger.com

4. Directory submission- firstly paid- the big name BOTW, Joe Ant and Yahoo then the free ones over time.

5. social book market everything, articles, blog etc- enought to get you started?
