I am going to purchase a TV this weekend. There are choices available from 300 watts to 1200 watts. I have an average size flat, How many watts should I go for? (Right now I am thinking of LG, 600 watts, woofer)
Well, A TV can't give a good quality sound as a Home Theater can give. So, if you want good sound then you can buy a TV of low watts and along with that buy a Home theater system (Mine is of 4800 watts). - Digital -
Forget watts, buy a TV with a nice picture. Then buy a decent amp and speakers. LOUD doesn't mean good.
Thanks for the suggestions... I know, TV can not give good sound quality as Home theater, But when I am buying a TV, I should try to get the best that I can have. My question is, if I can get the TV with 600 Watts woofer at the same prize as 300 watts.. what should be the choice. Both of the TV are from same brand LG
Even if the brand is the same, you need to do the comparison in features of the two, as you might be surely sacrificing on one or two features for getting 600 watts woofer at the same price! Do not sacrifice picture quality or higher technology for good sound output. Regards, RightMan
Plasma has serious defects, It takes 10 to 15 minutes before the picture become clear.. and channel logo will not change for some time when you change to another channel.
